SUDO – International Performance Art Meeting – FARM CULTURAL PARK / SICILY
– SUDO is an Italian word to say “I sweat’’.
SUDO wants to build an artistic community of practices and actions based in Sicily. In order to do so, SUDO international performance art meeting is the first action moved by Sudo in collaboration with Farm Cultural Park.
The first breakthrough of SUDO’s performance art comes in August.
With the support of Farm, SUDO collects the forces of some of the most visionary, bold and sensitive performance artists in the international scene. SUDO takes them to Sicily, in the south of south, and makes them sweat under the hottest sun of the year.
The artists invited have a background in contemporary dance and choreography. Some of them are closer to body art, while others are developing research practices which are strongly influenced by visual art and new technologies.
Sudo International performance art Meeting is a playground for a group of 10 professional artists who wish to inspire and nourish each other through the sharing of tools and creation methods.
Making space for new doubts and having fun with the unknown.
Sudo takes a space to begin the work.
The public is invited to attend practice sessions as an observer.
